When the Covid-19 pandemic struck our country in March, Hope thru Soap shifted the focus to food and hygiene security. Each week a small team has continued to serve hot lunches and Hope Bags that are filled with 10 lbs. of food, water and hygiene to those experiencing homelessness and those living in poverty. In addition to this; masks, hand sanitizer and information related to the Covid-19 virus to keep the less fortunate living on the streets safe has also been made available.
Hope thru Soap has been assisting the City of Atlanta, North Fulton, Gwinnett and Forsyth Counties during the pandemic.
Showers started back in October allowing for small pop up events at partner agencies.
