Hope thru Soap
Established in 2016, Hope thru Soap, Inc. (HTS) is a 501(c)3 organization serving metro Atlanta’s most disproportionately affected individuals. We provide mobile outreach and shower services, youth wraparound supportive services, and food pantry resources to individuals living in poverty, shelters and living unhoused.
To date, we have provided 5,499 mobile showers, 1,961 haircuts, and served 46,909 meals for our underserved neighbors.
Our weekly outreach events are fun and engaging Block Party type events with music and games as we meet the immediate needs of those living unsheltered (e.g., showers, haircuts, clothing, hygiene, meals and food).
We partner with other community-based organizations to provide additional resources at our outreach events including health, wellness, medical support, behavioral health care, and harm reduction education and strategies. Our mobile outreach program is sta ed with a team of both employees and volunteers, managing all project coordination, strategic planning, event management, data collection, and reporting.
